Josh Wilson, founder and owner.
Josh Wilson is the founder and owner of Wilson Built Construction, where he is known for his commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail. With a degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University, Josh built a strong foundation in the technical, managerial, and design aspects of construction.
Before launching Wilson Built Construction, Josh gained valuable experience working as a Project Manager and Estimator, where he managed complex projects and developed a reputation for precision, organization, and delivering high-quality results.
Today, Josh brings that same expertise and hands-on approach to every home Wilson Built Construction creates. By working closely with homeowners, architects, and designers, he ensures each project is thoughtfully planned, expertly executed, and built to the highest standard, turning each client’s vision into a home that is both beautiful and built to last.

Josh earned his Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from BYU, where he developed a strong foundation in project management, estimating, and construction systems. While attending BYU, he also played college football, balancing the demands of athletics and academics. An experience that strengthened the discipline, leadership, and work ethic he brings to every project. His education and real-world experience allow him to manage complex builds with precision, organization, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Cole Johnstone
Project manager and superintendent
Cole runs the site day to day: the schedule, the trades, the inspections, and the details in between. He studied construction management at Utah Valley University and came up through project management and superintendent roles with Utah builders, Candlelight Homes among them, before joining Wilson Built. Custom homes are the work he cares about most, and he is fluent in Spanish, so every crew on site hears the plan first hand.

Why I build.
Construction has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching homes being built, and somewhere along the way that curiosity turned into a genuine passion. I took that passion to BYU, where I earned my degree in Construction Management, then went to work for XDev and Mint Construction to learn the business from the inside out.
After a couple of years gaining hands-on experience, I was ready to do things my way. I launched Wilson Built Construction on October 8th, 2024.
Wilson Built is a fee-building company, which means my clients have full visibility into every dollar on their project. No hidden markups, no guessing where your money went. Just honest, detail-driven construction management from a builder who genuinely loves this work.
Every client I work with gets my direct involvement. I’m on-site, I’m reviewing plans, I’m coordinating trades, and I’m sweating the small stuff, because in custom home building, the small stuff is everything. I love my job and I love working with my clients. Building someone’s dream home is a privilege I don’t take lightly.
